    Tanner Books is a local institution. They special in local and BC publications and have one of the best selections of magazines on the south island. The helpful staff can assist you and place special orders if they don't carry what you need. They also have an unusual selection of gift items. Check them out and make use of the free street parking.

    Very clean tidy and quiet. The staff seems eager to help, but not pushy like some stores which i like. This store has been around at least since i was a kid

    A great place to go for books when you don't feel like going downtown. They also can orders books to the store and there is no shipping fees to pay. And the staff will call you when they have your book in. It may take long for some books to come in but it is worth the wait.
